ITCN Asia 2005 Exhibition and Conference was held in Karachi Expo Centre covering an area of 7000 Sqm.

The Federal Minister for Privatization & Investment, Senator Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh along with Provincial IT Ministers of Sindh and Punjab and top dignitaries inaugurated ITCN Asia 2005 Exhibition.

Governor Sindh, Honorable Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan hosted the Gala Dinner of the event at the Sindh Governor House on 9 th August 2005, which was attended by more than 1500 people that constitute the cream of the country.

More than 150 Architects of the Pakistan IT Industry were acknowledged by the organizers of ITCN Asia 2005.

153 Exhibitors participated and displayed their products and services in ITCN Asia 2005 Exhibition.

Comprehensive documents on expertise & business area of ITCN Asia 2005 were distributed to Foreign Delegates to ensure effectiveness for trade matching.

Special arrangements of Press Conference Room, Hospitality Suites for bilateral meetings, Business Center with necessary facilities, Refreshment Areas in each Hall, Executive Food Courts, Media Cell, Mineral Water arrangements and Prayer Area were made during ITCN Asia 2005

Free Shuttle Service and City Tour Facilities were provided to Foreign Delegates.

The formation of Networkers’ Society of Pakistan was announced as a major milestone in the IT History of Pakistan and this milestone was landmarked in ITCN Asia 2005.

ITCN Asia 2005 Press and Media Center coordinated with more than 70 print and electronic media representatives from Pakistan and abroad that have gathered for coverage of the event.

The Jang and the Daily News published Special Supplements to highlight the proceedings of the event.

Rasala Publications offered the readers with the day-to-day proceedings of the event in their publications with the name of E-Daily.

Special Coverage was also provided by the leading IT & Telecom magazines of the country that includes Computer World, NetExpress, Spider, Flare, Bandwidth etc.

Special Documentaries were made of ITCN Asia 2005 which were aired on several International and local satellite channels including PTV, GEO TV, INDUS, ARY-Digital etc.

First Aid Service, Bomb Disposal Squad, Fire Brigade, and Ambulance Service were on full alert as a measure of safety & security precaution.

As a result of tremendous success of ITCN Asia 2005 International Exhibition, 56% stalls were already booked as of Aug 30, 2005 for ITCN Asia 2006 Exhibition.

Due to an enormous interest and enthusiasm of Telecom sector in ITCN Asia 2005, the organizers have decided to dedicate a separate hall for this sector. In ITCN Asia 2006 Hall 4 will be allocated for Telecom companies only.
